This masterpiece represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship in the world of siphon brewing.
〔 Material: Rosewood〕
The spatel and case are exquisitely crafted from the rare and precious wood known as Indian Rosewood. This highly prized wood is in high demand for use in high-end furniture, Buddhist altars, musical instruments, and more.
As of 2017, it has been regulated under the Washington Convention, resulting in limited availability. Indian rosewood is very hard and pest-resistant, and has an attractive dark blackish purple hue and beautiful striped patterns known as "rosewood color.
For centuries, Indian rosewood was prized as an important commodity along the Silk Road and was favored by the medieval European nobility for their exquisite furniture. It also made its way from China to Japan, where it was used for fine woodwork and the construction of beautiful Buddhist altars, resulting in the creation of many national treasures.
Because of its hardness and durability, Indian Rosewood is a challenge to the craftsman, which makes it all the more precious over the centuries, adorning notable pieces such as Louis XIV's bed at the Palace of Versailles, pianos favored by Brazilian presidents, classical guitars and luxury car dashboards. The spatel and case, crafted with great extravagance from this rare and precious Indian rosewood, symbolize its opulence and luxury.

〔 背景 〕
中山吉伸サイフォニストチャンピオンと日本の木工職人がコラボして作り上げた、サイフォン界でもっとも豪華な撹拌用のヘラとヘラケースのセットです。長年お届けできず、ずっと待っていてくれた海外のお客様のために、最高級の木材を使用し、これ以上ないほどの工芸品級のサイフォニストプロフェッショナルツールを作り上げました。
〔 高級木材：ローズウッド 〕
古くから、高級家具や仏壇、楽器などに用いられてきた高級木材。とても硬く、害虫にも強いのが特徴です。2017年に、ローズウッドの木材すべてがワシントン条約の規制対象となったため、ローズウッド材は、規制以前に流通したものしか手に入れることはできません。
◯インドローズ（本紫檀）
数あるローズウッドの中でも最高級とされるのがインドローズです。インドやネパールなどのヒマラヤ山脈周辺が原産で、古代からシルクロードの交易品として親しまれ、中世のヨーロッパ貴族の家具材に使われました。日本には中国から伝わり、唐木細工や仏壇などに用いられ、ローズウッドを使った国宝も多く存在しています。
・もう入手できない希少価値の高い木材。
・カンナやノコギリでは加工できないくらいとても硬くて丈夫。
・紫檀色と呼ばれる紫色を帯びた黒色の木肌と魅力的な縞模様。
・ベルサイユ宮殿にあるルイ14世のベッドや、ブラジル大統領愛用のピアノ、クラシックギターや、高級車のダッシュボードなどなど･･･何百年も前から最高級品と呼ばれるものに使われてきた木材。
そんな極めて貴重かつ高級なインドローズを使い、贅沢にも削り出しによって、今回のヘラとケースは作り出されています。
